Meet your photographer
I’m Melanie — photographer, creative, and the person behind PhotoArtist Mel.
I specialize in portraits, branding, and capturing real moments — from intimate sessions to live events. But more than anything, I’m interested in creating images that feel honest and intentional.
Photography has been part of my life for years, ever since I chose to change universities and pursue an Associate’s Degree in Photography in 2010. But it wasn’t until I started working through my fears and taking real steps toward my dreams that I made the decision to commit to it — investing on equipment, working with clients, connecting with other creatives, and building something that truly aligns with who I am. Things began to grow from there in ways that made me feel more confident and positive.
Outside of photography, you’ll usually find me journaling, having matcha in a coffee shop, doing yoga or pilates, taking care of my plants, traveling and listening to BTS. And sometimes riding around on a Vespa with my boyfriend. But wherever I am, I always carry a camera with me.

What services don’t YOU offer?

I don’t do weddings, couples. maternity or family photos. Only to my friends, family or exceptions. But I’m open to new ideas and challenges… I’ll be happy to read your wishes and ideas and see if it’s an option that I would like to join in.

What’s your process for a photoshoot?

After contacting me, I’ll like to meet you to talk more about the session and share ideas. Then I’ll share with you a quote of who much the session is going to cost. If you decide to choose me as your photographer we set up a date and location. A non-refundable fee is required to book the date.
